Having been shut out for two periods by Black Horse goalie Aaron Wechter, Shawnee scored two goals in a three minute span to rally back from 2-0 and tie Black Horse at 2-2 in cross-over action played at Hollydell.

After a scoreless first period, John Kennedy notched his first goal of the season to give Black Horse a 1-0 lead late in the second period. Kyle Frasier made it 2-0 four minutes into the third period and the way Wechter was playing things looked bleak for Shawnee. Given an opportunity on the power play at the nine minute mark, Shawnee capitalized as Jesse Pagliuso scored to cut the deficit to 2-1.

Less than three minutes later Shawnee after some good pressure got the equalizer as Lawrence Walker scored his team high seventh goal to even the game at 2-2. With new life Shawnee kept the pressure on but Wechter kept them off the board with his biggest save coming in the final seconds as Walker had a chance down low but was stoned by Wechter.

Notes: Shawnee has struggled so far offensively averaging just over two goals a game with Walker having almost half the goals. They need to get some more contributions from the other lines.
