William Sulpizio scored four goals as Moorestown built a four goal lead and hung on to defeat Holy/Lenape/Valley 7-5 at the Skate Zone in Voorhees on Monday night. Sulpizio scored just 12 seconds into the game but H/L/V would take a 2-1 lead on goals by Brian Clegg and Nate Fowler. Sulpizio would tie the score at 2-2 late in the period. John Yedman gave Moorestown a 3-2 lead at the seven minute mark of the middle period but Colin Riera would score a power play goal about two minutes later and the score was 3-3.

Sulpizio would snap the tie scoring a power play goal for Moorestown with just over two minutes left in the period and a 4-3 lead after two. Goals by Sulpizio and Jason Witkowski had the lead to 6-3. H/L/V would pull the goalie for an extra skater but Mike Katz would notch an empty net goal for a 7-3 advantage. H/L/V would get goals from Matt Cloud and Sam Belanger to crawl to within 7-5 but time ran out.
