Cole Zucker had four goals, including three in a row in a span of four minutes in the third period, and the Miller brothers, Brian and Boomer each had a hat trick as Cherokee ran over Shawnee 11-1 in an early game played at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. Lawrence Walker had the lone goal for Shawnee. The Chiefs out-shot Shawnee 43-14 and added two power play goals along with two short-handed goals. It’s been a tough season so far for Shawnee, once a top team in this league.

I expect them to bounce back from this loss as Coach Fingerhut will get them ready for their next game against EEW. With the win Cherokee improved to 6-1 on the season and has a showdown with Moorestown on Monday night at the Skate Zone.
