Austin Kohler and Ryan Lauk each scored twice as Clearview defeated the EEW 5-1 in Tier II action at the Skate Zone in Voorhees on Monday night. Playing without their captain and leader Mike Vulpio, who began serving his suspension; Clearview needed eight minutes to finally get one past EEW goalie Brian Mood as Kohler snapped an eight game scoreless streak to give Clearview a 1-0 lead. That lead lasted seven seconds as Peter Laviolette tied the game at 1-1 notching his ninth goal of the year.

Lauk snapped the 1-1 tie connecting on the power play in the final thirty seconds of the period to give Clearview a 2-1 leading heading into the second period. Mike Cullen scored the lone goal of the second period, and despite numerous chances, Clearview led just 3-1 after two. As they did in the first period, Kohler and Lauk would connect once again midway through the period after Kohler made it 4-1. Lauk would respond with his second one minute later to close out the EEW.
