Cherokee scored early and often in the first period, tallying seven goals as they ran past Cinnaminson 12-0 at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. This was one of those games you fear would happen when a talented Tier I team meets a very young Tier II team, looking for its first win of the season. Dylan Bradley, Cole Zucker and Casey Forte each scored twice, with Bradley opening the scoring just fifteen seconds into the game. And scoring a power play goal midway through the period to make it 2-0.
