James Popp scored two goals to lead Cinnaminson to a 5-3 victory over Middle Township in a game played in Voorhees on Monday evening. The teams traded goals in the first period, with Tom DeMarco giving Middle Township a 1-0 lead three minutes into the game and Popp tying the game at 1-1 just over three minutes later. Kenny Weightman would put Middle Township up 2-1 just about one minute later, but Danny Oconnor notched his fifth goal of the year and we were knotted at 2-2 after one.

The second period was all Cinnaminson as goals by Chris Pawlikowski, Popp and Kenny Karcher gave the Pirates a 5-2 lead heading into the final period. De Marco got his second of the night and 12th of the season to cut the lead to 5-3 at the three minute mark, but that was a s close as Middle Township would get as goalie Chris Peters would notch his third straight win for Cinnaminson.
