Sean Conard scored two power play goals as Riverfront cruised to a 5-1 win over St Joe’s to win the JVB Championship in action played ta the Skate Zone in Voorhees. Riverfront jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period with Zachary Bock scoring a goal in the first three minutes for a 1-0 lead and Jake Sitzler scored his first of the playoffs in the last three minutes of the period. Conard scored the only goal of the second period on the power play with Jake Gimbel getting the assist.

St Joe’s got on the board early in the third period as Joe Celia connected at the five minute mark to cut the deficit to 3-1. Riverfront’s Robert Bell would respond seventeen seconds later to restore the three goal lead at 4-1. Conard added his second power play goal of the note two minutes later and Riverfront which suffered only one loss during the regular season, would skate away with the Championship. Congratulations to Coach Stevens and his staff on the victory.
