Eric Schwartz had three goals to lead Moorestown over Salesianum 5-2 in semi-final action in the NJ/DE Flyers Cup played at the Skate Zone on Monday night in Voorhees. Moorestown will have a rematch with rival Cherokee in the finals and will look to avenge their league championship loss. Moorestown led 2-0 after the opening period as Mike Katz scored at the nine minute mark and two minutes later with Salesianum down a man Schwartz connected on the power play for a 2-0 lead. Early in the second period after Salesianum cut the deficit to 2-1, Moorestown wasted little time in recapturing their two goal lead as Brian Santosuosso deflected a point shot by Tyler Tavormina for a 3-1 advantage.

Schwartz made it 4-1 at the eight minute mark with Jack McCollough working hard to maintain possession and finding Schwartz in the slot for a three goal cushion. Schwartz completed his hat trick with just two minutes left in the period, once again McCollough getting the helper. Salesianum managed a goal six minutes into the third period but Dominic Romeo shut the door the rest of the way and Moorestown is one win away from the Flyers Cup Title.
