Justin Bryan had two goals and one assist and Sam Amon added a goal and two assists as EEW defeated Shawnee 5-1. EEW led 2-0 after one period as Bryan and Amon would score goals early and late in the period. EEW would double their lead to 4-0 on goals by Jordan Hoeft and Alex Dietch midway through the second period as both goals would come eleven seconds apart.
Meantime in goal Nick Mattioli was keeping Shawnee off the board as he was sharp in nets. Bryan would score on the power play late in the second and the lead was 5-0 after two periods. Jake Pearlstein would ruin the shutout as he scored with about seven minutes left to make the final 5-1.
