Nick Ramos’ second goal of the game with forty eight seconds left in the third period allowed Clearview to earn a 3-3 tie against HLV. Despite dominating the game offensively in shots 39-12, Clearview trailed 3-1 late into the second period. The View took the lead early in the first period as James Summers scored his seventh goal of the year to make it 1-0. HLV would tie the game at 1-1 as Sam Belanger scored his 16th of the season just about four minutes later.

HLV took the lead in the second period as Colin Riera scored his ninth of the year and HLV led 2-1. With Clearview issued a five minute major late in the period, Brendan Willie would give HLV a 3-1 lead, but Ramos would score a short-handed goal just forty seconds later and the lead was 3-2 heading into the third period. Shaun Savvas made several big saves for HLV to keep the lead, but in the final minute with the goalie pulled Clearview got the equalizer as Ramos jammed home a shot by Trevor Smolsky to earn the tie.
