Alexander Deitch scored three goals and had three assists and Max Guralnick added two goals and three assists as EEW breezed by Shawnee 9-2 in playoff action at Voorhees. Jesse Viggiano chipped in with a goal and two assists. EEW led 3-0 after one and 5-0 early into the second period and never looked back. Deitch scored the first two goals of the game at the six minute mark, both coming on the same shift. Michael Corkery made it 3-0 late in the period for EEW collecting his first goal of the year.

A power play goal by Guralnick and a short-handed goal by Sam Amon had the lead to 5-0 just three minutes into the second period. Cody Charyk got one back on the power play for Shawnee to make it 5-1 but goals by Guralnick and Justin Bryan had the lead to 7-1 after two periods. Viggiano made it 8-1 at the six minute mark before Alex Churchill scored a power play goal for Shawnee. Deitch completed his hat trick in the game’s final two minutes to finish out the scoring.
