Matt Smith scored two goals, including his second straight game winner, this one coming with five minutes left in the game as Kingsway defeated Egg Harbor Township 7-6 and stayed alive in the double elimination tournament. Christian Raymond scored all six goals for EHT. Dom Salerno and Mike Moss added two goals each for Kingsway. The game was a seesaw affair with EHT taking a 3-2 lead after one on three goals by Raymond and Kingsway getting goals from Moss and Salerno.

The second period saw Kingsway take a 4-3 lead on goals by Vinnie Salerno and one by Dom less than three minutes apart. EHT would score the next two goals; twenty seconds apart to take a 5-4 lead, but a goal by Moss would tie the game at 5-5 after two periods. Smith scored a power play goal midway through the final period for a 6-5 Kingsway lead. Raymond would tie the game at 6-6 three minutes later. That set the stage for Smith and he delivered the game winner with JJ Fogelman getting the assist.
