Shawnee rallied from a 2-0 deficit to score three unanswered goals in a five minute span of the second period and hung on for a 3-2 win over Black Horse in game action in Voorhees on Monday evening. Scott Veneziale scored the lone goal of the first period, just fifteen seconds into the game. His second goal of the night came midway through the second period and Black Horse led 2-0. Evan Glenn would score his first goal of the season, this coming on the power play to bring Shawnee to within 2-1.

Todd Minshall would tie the game at 2-2 for Shawnee with just less than two minutes remaining in the period. Thirty seven seconds later, Ryley Bergeson would net the game winner for Shawnee with Daniel Venafro getting the assist. Despite some good pressure in the third period Black Horse could not get the equalizer and saw its record fall to 0-3-2. Shawnee captured their first win of the season.
