Six different players scored for Cherokee as they defeated rival Moorestown 6-1 in Tier I action in Voorhees. Jeremy Ambrose put Cherokee ahead 1-0 midway through the opening period, but Moorestown would capitalize on the man advantage as Robert Wildish scored on the power play with less than three minutes left in the period. Cherokee would use a three goal second period to pull away; first Andrew Cardinali would connect in the first two minutes to give the Chiefs a 2-1 advantage. Two minutes later Cherokee would get a power play goal from Sam Liberti and the lead was 3-1. Johnny Butkus would score an unassisted goal midway through the period and the lead was 4-1 after two.

Goals by Kyle Horner and Mike Smith closed out the scoring for the Chiefs in the third period as they improved to 3-1-1 in their last five games and remain two points behind Township.
