Brian Guzzi stopped all 19 shots as Shawnee defeated Cinnaminson 3-0 and moved into first place in Tier II in game action played at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. Shawnee improved to 5-3-2 on the season and a one point lead over Riverfront in the division. Anthony Poppalardo scored the only goal of the opening period, this one short-handed with five minutes left in the period for a 1-0 lead.
After a scoreless second period, Ryley Bergeson scored at the six minute mark, his sixth goal of the season and the lead was 2-0. Cody Charyk would add a power play goal three minutes later and Guzzi would shut down the Pirates offense the rest of the way.
