Cherry Hill got two goals from Justin Bryan and scored two short-handed goals on their way to a 6-1 win over Lower Cape May. With the win Cherry Hill improved to 11-1 on the season and I’m sure has surpassed Coach Busler’s expectations of where they would be in their first season since separating from Eastern. On the season, so far, it’s been solid goaltending, giving up just two goals per game, and balanced scoring, with 17 different players having scored goals and four players with seven or more goals.

Andrew Bowen opened the scoring for Cherry Hill five minutes into the game scoring his team high 17th on the season. Kristopher Hastings would make it 2-0, scoring the first of the two short-handed goals, his 15th on the season. Cherry Hill for the game would out-shoot Lower Cape May 45-11 and would keep the offensive pressure on Jack Amon scored the only goal of the second period and the lead was 3-0 entering the final period. Bryan would get his first of the night early in the period and a 4-0 advantage. Lower Cape would get on the board as Colin Donahue would connect for his fifth of the year to make it 4-1. But goals by Bryan and a second short-handed goal by Michael Bello in the final minute would close out the scoring.
