Zachary Faust had three goals as Black Horse built a 4-0 lead and went on to defeat Washington Township 6-3 in Tier 1 action played in Voorhees. Faust and Jeffrey Leap scored first period goals for Black Horse to lead 2-0 after one period. A power play goal by Kyle Ringhesier and Faust’s second of the night in the first four minutes of the second period saw the lead grow to 4-0. Township would break through at the eleven minute mark with Mark DiRenzo getting his first of two on the night to make it 4-1.

Chad Castorina would make it 4-2 less than one minute later and Township had new life. But a late goal by Kyle Surynt would give Black Horse a 5-2 lead after two periods. Faust would complete his hat trick in the opening minute of the third period, his 13th of the season and a 6-2 lead. DiRenzo would get his second of the night, this one coming on a penalty shot but Township could get no closer.
