Zachary Faust scored five goals as Black Horse defeated Moorestown 10-5 and stayed alive in the SJHSHL Playoff Tournament. Scott Veneziale added two goals and two assists for Black Horse; Zachary Williber had a hat trick for Moorestown. The Quakes took a 1-0 lead just two minutes into the game as David Shore would connect, but Black Horse would tie the game at 1-1 as Matthew Meldrum would score with three minutes left on the period. Black Horse would score a short-handed goal with just seven seconds left in the period as Faust would get his first and a 2-1 lead after one period. Early in the second period Austin Cole would score a power play goal for a 3-1 lead and ten seconds later Jeff Leap would make it 4-1 right off the face-off.

Moorestown would cut the lead to 4-2 as Williber would get his first of the night. Faust made it 5-2 scoring an unassisted goal using the defenseman as a screen with just under five minutes left in the period. Faust made it 6-2 with ninety seconds left and another late goal came with eight seconds as Veneziale scored the second short-handed goal and a 7-2 lead after two. Williber notched his second of the night for Moorestown early in the third period, on the power play and it was 7-3. Faust would score two more in a three minute span and the lead was 9-3. Moorestown would get goals from Shore and Williber to cut the lead to 9-5 with less than three minutes left. Veneziale added an empty net goal to finish the scoring. Moorestown saw its season end with the loss after having a successful regular season. Black Horse, whose roster consists of mostly seniors, will now face Cherokee in an elimination game on Monday night at Voorhees.
