AJ Colella stopped 32 shots and Donovan Haslett scored twice as Washington Township defeated Clearview 4-2 and will now move onto the championship round with a chance to defend their title. Clearview jumped out to a 2-0 lead on goals by Anthony Dellerose and Jake Sholders in the first six minutes of the game, Colella would shut the door the rest of the way as he saved his best performance for tonight. Eric Sailor picked the perfect time to score his first goal of the season, it came with just three minutes left in the period and got Township on the board and gave them momentum heading into the second period.

After a scoreless second period, in which Clearview had several opportunities to increase their lead, but Colella came up big, Township would get the equalizer from Jeffrey Horner at the six minute mark and we were tied at 2-2. Sailor and Mario Leone set-up Haslett for the game winner as he ripped a shot from the left circle and Township had its first lead at 3-2 midway through the third period. Despite heavy pressure from Clearview, Colella kept the View from tying the game and Haslett ended any hope scoring an empty net goal in the final ten seconds. Township will now await the winner of Cherokee-Clearview, and just needs to win one game. Clearview or Cherokee must beat Township twice in order to win the title.
