Mike Andes scored twice and RJ Kulik stopped all 17 shots as Cherokee defeated Moorestown 3-0 to win the JVA Championship. After a scoreless first period, during which Moorestown had two power play opportunities, but Kulik made several big saves to keep the game scoreless, Andes scored four minutes into the second period with Josh Aubrey getting the assist. Just over two minutes later Andrew Cardinali would make it 2-0 with Mike Smith getting the assist.

Mendes would get his second goal of the night midway through the final period and the Chiefs would protect the 3-0 lead. Congratulations to Coach Sabol and his staff.
