Cherry Hill East continues to ride the hot play of Jordan Hauler as he stopped 25 shots as they eliminated Shawnee 3-1 and will now play HLV in the championship round. HLV has not suffered a loss in the double elimination tournament so East will have to beat them twice. First with tonight’s win, East jumped out to a 2-0 lead after one period on goals by Jack Meath and Tommy Papa. Beginning the second period on the power play and a chance to go up three goals, Ryley Bergeson would score short-handed for Shawnee just ten second in to make it 2-1.

Kyle Hill would restore the two goal lead late in the period and East led 3-1 after two. Hauler would come up big midway through the period as Shawnee had consecutive power play opportunities, but Hauler kept them off the board and East was able to hang on and end the season for Shawnee.
