Zachary Faust had a hat trick and Matthew Meldrum added two goals as Black Horse avoided elimination with a 6-1 win over Williamstown. The loss was the first for the Braves and the two teams will meet again for the Tier I B title. Williamstown would take a 1-0 lead as Dennis Campbell scored in the opening three minutes. Goals by Faust and Jeff Leap four minutes apart gave Black Horse the lead for good at 2-1. Faust would score a power play goal midway through the second period and Meldrum would get his first of the night late in the period and the lead was 4-1 after two.
Faust would complete his hat trick on the power play with just less than four minutes left in the game and Meldrum scored short-handed in the final minute to close out the scoring.
