Nicholas Ramos has played for Clearview for four years and came into last night’s game needing three points to reach 100 in his career and he got there with an assist on the last Clearview goal with just over one minute remaining as the View handled Shawnee 8-2 in SJHSHL action played at Hollydell. Anthony Dellerose and Robert Penrod scored two goals each and Ramos had three assists. Penrod scored the only goal of the first period with a blast just over the blue line and he scored his second of the night at the almost exact time in the second period for a 2-0 lead. Dellerose would make it 3-0 as Colin Hughes sent him in on a breakaway moments after Penrod’s goal.

Dellerose would make it 4-0 less than two minutes later as Clearview took control of the game. Ramos had several scoring opportunities hitting the post a few times, but he kept working and hustling which is a trademark. Anthony Manzo would convert a pass from Cole Dyar and Ramos to make it 5-0, and give Ramos his first point of the night. We stood that way until Hughes would make it 6-0 with just less than six minutes left in the game. Shawnee would get on the board as Ryley Bergeson would score his team high 15th of the season to make it 6-1.

Ramos would set up Dyar thirty seconds later for his second point of the night and a 7-1 lead. With the game winding down and one last shift for Ramos he fed Dave Fadini for his third goal of the year, but more impressively the 100th point for Ramos. Ian Plummer would close out the scoring on the power play for Shawnee, but tonight was Ramos’ night. Congratulations on an amazing accomplishment!
