Matt McIntosh stopped 27 shots and Anthony Poppalardo scored two goals as Shawnee upset Cherry Hill East in the opening round of the playoffs. Shawnee jumped out to a 3-0 lead after one period and never looked back. Tyler Feast opened the scoring less than two minutes into the game. Poppalardo and Daniel Venafro would add goals later in the period for Shawnee. Poppalardo scored the only goal of the second period and Shawnee was in command entering the third period.

East finally broke through on McIntosh early into the third period as Luke Steele scored but that was the only one that McIntosh would give up. Riley Bergeson and Cody Charyk would add goals later in the period to close out the scoring.
