Mike Deford had a hat trick and Mike Andes added two goals and three assists as Cherokee ended the regular season with a 9-2 win over the Braves from Williamstown. Samuel Libetti opened the scoring two minutes into the game to give the Chiefs the early 1-0 lead. Deford would get his first late in the period and the Chiefs took a 2-0 lead to the second period. The Chiefs would put up five goals in the second period to take control of the game. After Justin Fortuna got Williamstown on the board in the opening seconds of the period, Deford and Andes would set each other up as first Deford would get his second of the night from Andes and Andes would get a feed from Deford and the Chiefs led 4-1midway through the second period. 

Steve Poulin would get Williamstown to within 4-2 at the ten minute mark, but goals by Libetti, his second of the night on the power play and Andes just over two minutes later had the lead to 6-2. Max Zeligson would score in the final minute for the Chiefs and they took a 7-2 lead into the third period. Jeremy Ambrose would get his 15th of the season with nine minutes left and Deford would complete his hat trick with just over six minutes left. The Chiefs will open the playoffs against defending champ Eastern in the first round.
