Luke Steele had a hat trick as Cherry Hill East defeated Mainland 10-0 in the Tier II double elimination tournament game played at the Skate Zone in Voorhees on Monday night. Cherry Hill jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period on goals by Calvin Aliferov, Eric First and Ethan Chase. Two goals by Steele in the second period and pone by Callum Scott had East ahead 6-0 after two.

Three goals in the first five minutes of the third by East pushed the lead to 9-0. Steele completed his hat trick between goals by Tom Papa and Johnny Pearson. David Cutler closed out the scoring for East as they advanced. Mainland suffered their first loss of the tournament.
