Jake Nole scored with under two minutes left in the first overtime as Clearview ended Riverfront’s season with a 4-3 win in late game action played at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. The teams traded goals in the opening period with Maxwell Luz giving Riverfront a 1-0 lead midway through the period and Clearview getting a goal late in the period from Mike DeFelice to tie the game at 1-1 after one. Austin Wilk gave Riverfront a 2-1 lead forty seconds into the second period, but right after the center ice face-off, Chris Geary tied the score at 2-2 for Clearview. The goals came fifteen seconds apart.

The teams would trade power play goals later in the period with Daniel Taylor giving Riverfront a 3-2 lead, but two minutes later Gavin Reagan would tie the score once more at 3-3. Both teams had an opportunity in the third period on the power play, but failed to capitalize. And with the clock winding down in overtime Nole would get the game winner with Reagan getting the assist. Each game moving forward for the View is an elimination game as they have already lost one game in this double elimination tournament. Next up is a date with St Joe’s in Atlantic City on Friday.
