A perfect example of getting hot at the right time the Williamstown Braves struggled most of the season winning just three games, but come tournament time they went 4-0 as they defeated Egg Harbor Township 7-6 in the Tier IB finals. Two third period goals by Tristan Hofstrom were the difference for the Braves. Williamstown built a 4-2 lead after one period on goals by Jesse Cave, Justin Fortuna and two goals by Dennis Campbell. EHT got goals from Salvatore Bergeron and Christian Raymond.

The second period was all EHT as they scored three goals in the first three minutes to take a 5-4 lead. Ryan Robertson scored in the first thirty seven seconds and then Kyle Gabrelli scored twice in a sixteen second span. Steve Poulin would connect on the power play and we headed into the third period all square at 5-5. After Hofstrom gave the Braves a 6-5 lead just over one minute into the third period, EHT would tie the game at 6-6 on a goal by Jona Carmany with ten minutes left in the game. Hofstrom would get the game winner with less than nine minutes remaining and Williamstown would hang on for the win. Congratulations to Coach Brown, and assistants Scott McKeon and Jason Innella.
