Brian Barnett’s seventh goal of the season late in the second period broke a 2-2 game and Kingsway held on to defeat Shawnee 3-2 in the season finale for both clubs on Friday night at Hollydell. Kingsway jumped out to a 2-0 lead after the first period on goals by John Francis and Jason Player. Shawnee would bounce back in the second period getting goals from Robert Falese early in the period and on the power play midway through a goal from Tyler Murray to tie the game at 2-2. 

Barnett would break the tie with just over three minutes left in the period and despite fifteen shots from Shawnee in the third period the Dragons held on.
