Andrew McGinley scored four goals and Mike Guarracino added two as Washington Township defeated St Joe’s 8-2 in the night cap at opening night at Hollydell on Wednesday. Township jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first period with McGinley opening the scoring just two minutes in. Two minutes later Ray Rizzo would make it 2-0. Harrison Rauh would score a short-handed goal to push the lead to 3-0. McGinley scored late in the period and Township would take a 4-0 lead into the second period.

After a power play goal by Deaglan Kelly got St Joe’s on the board, McGinley would get his third of the game and the lead was 5-1. Kelly would get his second of the night with sixteen seconds left to make it 5-2 after two. Goals by McGinley and two by Guarracino closed out the scoring in the third period.
