Ryan Feast had a goal and two assists and David Hoftiezer scored twice as Shawnee defeated Washington Township 5-2 in their first game after the holidays. Andrew McGinley had scored the only goal of the first period to give Washington Township a 1-0 lead. Goals by Dylan DiGrazio in the opening minute of the second period and one by Thomas Caputo in the last minute of the period gave Shawnee a 2-1 lead after two. Early in the third period Township went on the power play and would get the tying goal from Joseph Mosco at the two minute mark.

Three minutes later Township would have another man advantage except this time Feast would score a short-handed goal to give Shawnee a 3-2 lead. With just under five minutes remaining Feast would set up Hoftiezer to give Shawnee some breathing room at 4-2. Hoftiezer would close out the scoring in the last ninety seconds again setup by Feast.
