William Bahnak scored four goals as Egg Harbor Township defeated Washington Township 7-6 in Tier I action contested at Hollydell on Friday night. After Bahnak scored with five minutes left in the period, Township would get goals from Nico Durnan and Joe Mosco in the final four minutes to take a 2-1 lead into the second period. EHT would score five goals in the second period. After Bahnak tied the game at 2-2, Jacob Feliciano gave EHT their first lead scoring at the seven-minute mark. Bahnak next goal made it 4-2 less than two minutes later. Back came Township as goals by Andrew McGinley on the power play and Mike Guarracino seconds later had the game tied at 4-4.

Not to be outdone EHT would get goals from Dylan Faulhaber and Ryan Robertson eight seconds apart to take a 6-4 lead into the third period. Kyle McGarvey brought Township to within five minutes into the third period and Township had a power play with just over six minutes left in the -game but could not capitalize. Bahnak made it 7-5 with twenty-seven seconds left and it turned out EHT would need that goal as Raymond Rizzo would score with 7seven seconds left to make it 7-6, but Township ran out of time.
