Michael Henry had a hat trick, two of the goals coming short-handed and Joshua Lindquist stopped 36 shots as St Joe’s defeated HLV 3-2 in Tier II action played at the Skate Zone. Henry’s first goal came late in the first period with Deaglan Kelly and Robert Davis getting the assists. Brady Swain would tie the game at 1-1 at the nine-minute mark of the second period with Tyler Grey and Daniel Flagg getting the helpers. Late in the period HLV had an opportunity on the power play to take the lead but Henry scored short-handed and St Joe’s took a 2-1 lead into the third period. 

Flagg would get the tying goal thirty-seven seconds into the third period and given another opportunity on the power play less than two minutes later, Henry would once again score short-handed and St Joe’s led 3-2. Lindquist would have his strongest period as HLV would launch twenty shots, but could not get the equalizer.
