Eastern trailed 3-1 early into the second period but would rally to edge Washington Township 5-4 in Tier I action played at Hollydell. As they have had all season the Vikings got goals from five different players. Township was led by Mike Guarracino with two goals. Sean Pomerantz opened the scoring midway through the first period as the Vikings took a 1-0 lead. Less than two minutes later, Niko Durnan would tie the score at 1-1 with Harrison Rauh and Wayne Caucci getting the assists. Less than one minute later, Andrew McGinley would find Guarracino on the left side and he made no mistake and Township would take a 2-1 lead into the second period.

Rauh would make it 3-1 in the opening seconds of the second period and Eastern needed a response as Township was playing with confidence. At the four-minute mark, the Vikings would go on the power play and Aadan Plank would connect for his third of the season to cut the deficit to 3-2. Right off the center ice face-off Eastern broke in and Kristopher Zapata would tie the score at 3-3 with Ryan Karbach and Gunnar Rogers getting the assists. Guarracino would give Township a 4-3 lead at the nine-minute mark as the goalie attempted to clear the puck but it bounced off Guarracino and into the net for a 4-3 lead. Two minutes later, Ethan Raeuber would go top shelf to tie the game at 4-4 entering the third period. Early in the third the Vikings would get the eventual game winner from Jordan Stein as he put home a rebound down low and Pomerantz and Plank getting the assists. Township would have two power play chances but could not get the tying goal and the Vikings improved to 11-2-2.
