Moorestown trailed most of the game but rallied with three goals in the final five minutes to defeat Egg Harbor Township 5-3 in action played at the Igloo on Friday night. After a scoreless first period EHT broke through in the opening seconds of the second period as Dylan Faulhaber scored short-handed. Three minutes later the lead became 2-0 as Jayson Humphrey scored his second goal of the season. Samuel Selverian would cut the lead to 2-1, getting his first of two on the night at the five-minute mark. Nick Jarmaine would tie the game at 2-2 scoring in the final minute of the period.
Just about three minutes into the third period EHT would take a 3-2 lead on a goal by Blake Gray, his fifth of the season. Michael O’Connell would pick a great time to get his first goal of the season as he tied the score at 3-3 midway through the period. Zachary McEvoy would score the game winner with less than four minutes remaining, Selverian would add an insurance goal in the final two minutes to close out the scoring.
