Andrew McGinley’s second goal of the game with less than one minute left in the contest gave the Minutemen a 3-2 win over Kingsway in the season finale for both clubs. The teams traded goals in the first period with Kyle McGarvey scoring at the six minute mark and Kingsway tying the game on a goal by Colin Kupniewski just over one minute later. Nick Bellapigna would give Kingsway a 2-1 lead late in the second period, scoring on the power play and the Dragons took the lead into the third period.

After Kingsway killed off a penalty at the four minute mark, Township would press and McGinley would tie the game at 2-2 as he scored with less than three minutes left. Then on a late penalty call, McGinley would net the game winner with just 48 seconds left. Playoffs start next Friday and Township will be the sixth seed.
