Cherry Hill East JVA scored four goals in the second period and went on to defeat Washington Township 5-0 in Sunday night JVA action in Voorhees. After a scoreless first period Cherry Hill broke through as Tyler Williams scored his second of the season five minutes into the second period. Just thirty-two seconds later Justin Moroney made it 2-0 putting home his ninth of the year, tied for team high. Township was assessed a five-minute major and Cherry Hill would capitalize as Joseph Papa would score two goals in a span of three minutes and the lead was now 4-0.
Robert Mangini, in nets for the Cougars would stop all 29 shots in recording his first shutout of the season. Christian Wright added a goal in the final seconds of the third period to close out the scoring.
