SJIceHockey.com Player Profile

Ryan Joyce has demonstrated good work ethics on the ice and it shows with the success he is having with the Cinnaminson Pirates. Ryan is a senior on the Cinnaminson ice hockey team and currently leads his team in scoring playing right wing. His efforts along with his teammates had a very successful team last year when they finished in first place in Tier II. Their 14-0-4 record moved them into the Tier I schedule this year. Ryan lists Eric Lindross as his favorite player and scoring a hat trick in his first varsity game was his best hockey moment. As for his worst moment, that would be losing in the districts playing with his Jaguar team.

Off the ice and Ryan enjoys listening to punk rock and hip hop. He also spends quality time with his girlfriend and lists her as the person he admires the most…hmm, way too early to put your woman first, but he has the right idea! When he’s not watching his favorite movie, Dumb and Dumber, you may find him eating a bacon cheeseburger at his favorite restaurant. He is planning for his future and that would involve entering into the business world.

One of his highlights from this season would be against Clearview back in December where he was involved in every goal scored for Cinnaminson. During the first period of that game, Ryan’s nice pass to Sean Joyce tied the game at a goal apiece. His assist in the second period set up Eric McDowell’s goal and Cinnaminson had rallied to pull within a goal heading into the final period. That’s when Ryan took matters in his own hands by scoring the game tying goal two minutes into the period. But late in period, Clearview would score the deceive goal to win the game.
