Eric Simone had a goal and three assists and Jared Hand scored twice as Cherry Hill East defeated Clearview 4-2 at the Skate Zone in Voorhees on Monday evening. After a scoreless first period, Kyle Montgomery scored an early goal in the second period to give Clearview a 1-0 lead. Less than two minutes later Simone tied the score at 1-1 with Tyler Caton getting the assist.

Pat Nugent had a hat trick and Kevin Rafferty added two goals as Cinnaminson defeated Clearview 6-2 at Voorhees on Monday night. Joe Paul scored both Clearview goals. After spotting Clearview a 1-0 just two minutes into the game, Cinnaminson would score three goals in a span of four minutes, with Garrett McLaverty tying the score at 1-1 at the four minute mark and Nugent scoring goals on consecutive shifts to put Cinnaminson up 3-1.
Eric Mitchell put home a rebound of a shot by Ed Moore with less than four minutes remaining in the game to snap a 1-1 game as Clearview beat Holy Cross 2-1 in a game played at Hollydell. Coming off a tough year last season where the View won just 2 games, and did not win there first until game eighteen, they got a solid performance from net minder Dan Flaherty and the defense limited Holy Cross to second chances.
Jonathan Ruiz scored four goals and Jacob Distasio added three as Williamstown scored six goals in the opening period and breezed by Clearview 13-3 in SJHSIHL action played at Hollydell. Ed Moore led Clearview with two goals. It started out good for Clearview as Moore gave them a quick 1-0 lead just under one minute into the game. Williamstown would score the next six goals of the game to take control. After Distasio tied the score at 1-1, Chris Brown scored his first of two goals to give Williamstown the lead for good at 2-1.
Ben Tice stopped all 32 shots and Eric Simone scored two goals as Cherry Hill East got their first win of the season in defeating Clearview 5-0. East jumped out early as Sam Kaufman converted on a feed from Simone just three minutes into the game, scoring from down low on the short side. Clearview had a chance to tie the game late in the period as they were on the power play, but Tyler Caton, set-up behind the net found Simone in front and his shot went through the five-hole and East led 2-0 heading into the second period.
