Sean Pomerantz had a hat trick and Jordan Stein added two goals as the Eastern Vikings JVA squad defeated the Clearview JVA team 7-4 in action played at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. Connor Reagan led Clearview with two goals. After a scoreless first period, the Vikings would score three times in a span of ten minutes. After Reagan opened the scoring with a power play goal two minutes into the second period, Stein would tie the game thirty seconds later. Pomerantz would net his first at the nine minute mark and Patrick Armano would connect on the power play to give the Vikings a 3-1 lead heading into the final period. Clearview made an early charge as goals by Reagan and Konnor Savvas tied the game at 3-3 less than two minutes into the period.

Sean Pomerantz scored four goals as the Eastern Vikings opened their JVA season with an 8-6 win over Kingsway. Bobby Johnson led Kingsway with a hat trick. Pomerantz scored the only two goals of the opening period as the Vikings dominated the period launching 15 shots to just four for Kingsway. Both goals came in the final four minutes of the period. Kingsway would score the first two goals of the second period as goals by Johnson and Dominick Mendek to tie the game at 2-2 midway through the second period. Pomerantz and Johnson exchanged goals at the ten minute mark, but a goal by Nicholas Buongiavini put the Vikings up 4-3.

Matt Marzo scored two goals as Moorestown rallied from a 2-0 deficit and opened the JVA season with a 4-2 win over Cherry Hill East. Ben Snyder and Joe Furgiuele scored goals less than one minute apart early in the first period to give Cherry Hill a 2-0 lead just six minutes into the game. Moorestown would capitalize on the power play at the eight minute mark as Charlie Silverian scored to make it 2-1 after one. Marzo would get the tying goal at the ten minute mark with Jacob Delgado getting the helper and we headed into the third period tied at 2-2.
