Mainland scored three goals in the third period to snap a 1-1 game and went on to defeat Clearview 4-1 in cross-over action played at Hollydell on Friday night. With the win Mainland remained improved its record to 5-0-1. After a scoreless opening period, Trevor Smolsky scored just forty-five seconds into the second period to give Clearview a 1-0 lead. Matt Cozzan would tie the game at 1-1 at the five minute mark for Mainland. Much like the first period where both teams played a defensive style and tight checking, the second period was more of the same.

Mackenzie Restle had two goals and three assists as Mainland defeated Williamstown 9-1 at the Skate Zone in Voorhees on Monday night. With the win Mainland improved its record to 4-0-1. After a scoreless first period Mainland would score four goals in a nine minute span to take control of the game. Restle opened the scoring in the first minute of the period with Chase Iaconelli assisting, one of four assists on the night for Iaconelli.

Scott Veneziale scored a power play goal early in the third period to lift Black Horse into a 2-2 game with Mainland. Neither team would score in the first period and Mainland led 2-0 on goals by Mackenzie Restle and Zachary Robbins with Restle scoring in the opening minute and Robbins scoring at the nine minute mark.

Colin Naumchik and Mackenzie Restle scored two goals each and Ryan Mcmahon stopped all 15 shots as Mainland defeated Shawnee 7-0 in National Conference action played at the Skate Zone in Voorhees on Monday night. Mainland also capitalized on the power play going 3-4 on the night. Naumchik scored the lone goal of the first period at the five minute mark to give Mainland a 1-0 lead. Naumchik’s second goal of the night, this one on the power play, came late in the second period and led just 2-0 heading into the third period.

Chase Iaconelli and Mackenzie Restle each scored two goals as Mainland won its season opener with an 8-4 defeat of HLV. Mainland jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period and never looked back. Nathan Herring opened the scoring five minutes into the game to put Mainland up 1-0. Less than thirty seconds later Zachary Robbins made it 2-0, with Restle and Charlie Iannerello getting the assists. Restle would notch his first of two late in the period and Mainland was in control at 3-0.
