Brad Brodzik scored two goals as Black Horse defeated Mainland 7-1 and remain undefeated on the season at 11-0. Christian Corsaro opened the scoring early in the first period scoring a short-handed goal for a 1-0 lead. Brodzik would make it 2-0 with just seven seconds left in the period and would get his second of the night in the second and the lead was 3-0. Mainland’s best opportunity came on a breakaway by Brendan Blight, but Michael Neal stoned him to keep Mainland off the board. In giving up just one goal Neal’s GAA dropped to 1.50 on the season.

Nick Guinta scored his first two goals of the season, both coming in the first period as Mainland defeated Williamstown 6-2 at the Voorhees Skate Zone on Monday night. Mainland jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period, after Guinta scored his first at the nine minute mark to make it 1-0, less than thirty seconds later Jacob Graziotto would get his third of the season and the lead was 2-0. Guinta would make it 3-0 with just over three minutes left in the period.
Drew Murtha scored twice and Williamstown built a 4-1 lead and held off a Mainland rally to escape with a 4-3 win, their second victory of the season after winning just one game last year. The Braves jumped out to a 1-0 lead at the six minute mark with Steve Poulin scoring down low. The lead was 2-0 with Enrique Espinoza getting his second goal of the season with just over four minutes remaining in the period. Murtha would score a short-handed goal late in the period and the Braves had a 3-0 lead after one.
Gage Grist scored three goals and Brendan Blight added a goal and two assists as Mainland defeated Shawnee 7-2 in the season opener for both teams. Gage scored the lone goal of the first period with Jacob Graziotto and Brendan Allen getting the assists; it was the first of three assists on the night for Allen. Grist scored an unassisted goal early in the second period and less than two minutes later Blight would net his first of the season and the lead was 3-0. Shawnee would get on the board less than one minute later as Nick Simonetti would connect to cut the lead to 3-1.
