Seven different players scored goals as Cherry Hill East defeated Mainland 7-3 in Tier II action in Voorhees. The Cougars would jump out to a 5-1 lead after the first period and never looked back. Jacob Holland scored off the opening face-off as Cherry Hill led 1-0 just ten seconds in. Three goals over the next three minutes, one each by Cameron Dailey on the power play and even strength goals by Jacob Mutschler and Joe Papa had the lead to 4-0 just six minutes into the first period. Anthony Santa Maria would put Mainland on the board but John Gallen would answer back later in the period and a 5-1 lead after one.
