Moorestown scored four goals in the first period, three coming in a span of just over three minutes and that momentum propelled the Quakes to a 7-4 win over Washington Township. Andrew McGinley led the Township offense scoring three goals. Samuel Byrd-Leitner led Moorestown with two goals. After Michael Guarracino gave Township a 1-0 lead just fifty seconds into the game, Ryan Boyle would get the tying goal at the five minute mark. Goals by Zachary McEvoy and Leitner two minutes apart had Moorestown leading 3-1. McGinley got his first of the night late in the period to cut the lead to 3-2. Kevin Wildish put Moorestown up 4-2 scoring in the final 34 seconds.
