Dan Taylor scored two goals as Riverfront defeated Williamstown 3-2 in SJHSHL action played at Hollydell. Williamstown can look back on their failure on the power play tonight as they went 0-6, which included a two-man advantage for a full two minutes late in the second period and they failed to capitalize. Jake Elliott would put the Braves up 1-0 scoring his first varsity goal of the season midway through the first period. In the opening minute of the second period Taylor would tie the game on a breakaway for Riverfront. Patrick Willever would get his first of the season at the nine minute mark and Riverfront led 2-1.

Zachary Faust and Michael Barbella each scored two goals as Black Horse defeated Riverfront 4-1 to move to 7-0 on the season. The game was tied at 1-1 after two periods, with Faust getting the eventual game winner as his back hander from the slot found the net midway through the third. Riverfront had a 1-0 lead scoring the only goal of the first period with Sean Cantwell scoring his second goal of the season. Faust would tie the game at 1-1 at the eight minute mark of the second period. Riverfront would have a golden opportunity late in the period as they would have a two-man advantage for over one minute but failed to capitalize.

Kevin Glass scored three goals and Seth Zolda added two and St Joe’s would use a four goal third period to defeat Riverfront 7-4 at the Voorhees Skate Zone on Monday night. Tyler Anderson gave Riverfront a 1-0 lead just two minutes into the game. Midway through the period St Joe’s would tie the score at 1-1 as Collin Oncay would get his first varsity goal of the season. Early in the second period Zolda would give St Joe’s a 2-1 lead with Matt Asher getting the assist.

Sean Conard scored two goals as Riverfront defeated Williamstown 5-1 in SJHSHL action played in Voorhees. Conard scored in the opening two minutes of the game to put Riverfront ahead for good at 1-0. Sean Cantwell would connect on the power play at the five minute mark and the lead was 2-0. Early in the second period Daniel Taylor would score his first of the season and the lead was 3-0. Taylor would assist on Conard’s second of the night with just under five minutes left in the period and a 4-0 lead.

John Pearson had a natural hat trick and David Cutler had a goal and three assists to lead Cherry Hill past Riverfront 4-0 in Tier II action on Monday night in Voorhees. Riverfront was out-shot 45-16. Jordan Hauler got the shutout in recording his first win of the season. Cutler scored the only goal Hauler would need early in the period on the power play with Tommy Papa and Mike Martinez getting the assists. Pearson would get his first of three on the night three minutes later with Cutler and Kyle Hill getting the assists and Cherry Hill took a 2-0 lead into the second period.
