Ian Engle stopped 31 shots as Williamstown defeated HLV 3-1 in varsity action played at Hollydell. With the win the Braves evened their record at 3-3, a far cry from last season’s 1-14-2 record, hats off to Coach Elliott and his staff for persevering through the rebirth of the program. HLV took a 1-0 lead on the first goal of the season by Matt Kilkenny. Williamstown would take advantage of a 2-man advantage to tie the game at 1-1 as Dennis Campbell converted a pass from Joe Celia.

Nick Guinta scored his first two goals of the season, both coming in the first period as Mainland defeated Williamstown 6-2 at the Voorhees Skate Zone on Monday night. Mainland jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period, after Guinta scored his first at the nine minute mark to make it 1-0, less than thirty seconds later Jacob Graziotto would get his third of the season and the lead was 2-0. Guinta would make it 3-0 with just over three minutes left in the period.
Nick Shute and Joe Urban scored first period goals to give Township a 2-0 lead, and they held on to defeat Williamstown 3-1. The win snapped a six game winless streak and gave Township their first JVA win of the season. Leading 2-0 after one, and after a scoreless second period, Williamstown got on the board at the seven minute mark scoring on the power play, with Dennis Campbell getting the goal. Alec Miller, getting his first start in nets, turned away 27 shots in nets and Joey Ricchezza added an empty net goal in the final minute to ice the game.
Sean Conard scored two goals as Riverfront defeated Williamstown 5-1 in SJHSHL action played in Voorhees. Conard scored in the opening two minutes of the game to put Riverfront ahead for good at 1-0. Sean Cantwell would connect on the power play at the five minute mark and the lead was 2-0. Early in the second period Daniel Taylor would score his first of the season and the lead was 3-0. Taylor would assist on Conard’s second of the night with just under five minutes left in the period and a 4-0 lead.
Drew Murtha scored twice and Williamstown built a 4-1 lead and held off a Mainland rally to escape with a 4-3 win, their second victory of the season after winning just one game last year. The Braves jumped out to a 1-0 lead at the six minute mark with Steve Poulin scoring down low. The lead was 2-0 with Enrique Espinoza getting his second goal of the season with just over four minutes remaining in the period. Murtha would score a short-handed goal late in the period and the Braves had a 3-0 lead after one.
Mason Batchelor scored twice as Williamstown defeated Clearview 6-5 in JVA action played at Hollydell. Brian Fahy led the Clearview attack with two goals. The Braves jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first eight minutes of the game. Goals by Dylan Schnapp, Batchelor and Tyler Spear gave Williamstown the early lead. Clearview would get goals from Reese Valcich in the final minute of the period to cut the lead to 3-2.
