Anthony Poppalardo scored three goals as Shawnee defeated Williamstown 6-4 in Tier I action played in Voorhees. Shawnee jumped out to a 3-0 lead after the first period on goals by Aidan McGray, Poppalardo and Robert Falese. Williamstown staged a comeback early in the second period getting goals from Jesse Cave and Steve Poulin in the opening minute to cut the deficit to 3-2. Thomas Caputo would give Shawnee some breathing room midway through the period scoring his third goal of the season and a 4-2 lead.

Robert Wildish scored twice and Williamstown struggled on the power play going 0-8 as the Quakes remained unbeaten with a 5-2 win over the Braves in a game played at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. Wildish would get his 16th on the season at the nine minute mark of the first period. The lead became 2-0 five minutes later as Kevin Hillman would go top shelf for his sixth of the year. Less than one minute later Charlie Banquier would see his slap shot from the point find the net for his first of the season and the lead was 3-0.

Domenic Garozzo scored two goals and Kyle Rink stopped 25 shots as Washington Township defeated Williamstown 5-1 in Tier I action played at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. Joe Ricchezza would open the scoring just three minutes into the game as he was positioned to the right of the goalie down low and put home a rebound of a shot by Joseph Urban. Three minutes later Garozzo would make it 2-0 as his quick shot from the slot found the top left corner and Township took a two goal lead into the second period. Williamstown would have two power play opportunities but Rink stood his ground with his best save coming against Mason Batchelor from point blank range.

Robert Wildish had a hat trick as Moorestown continued its unbeaten run with a 9-0 rout of Williamstown in Tier I action played at Hollydell. Chris Palko got his first start in nets for Moorestown and stopped all 13 shots and on offense the Quake would score three goals in each period. It took Moorestown nine minutes to get their offense on track as Elias Sulpizio would score with just under five minutes left in the first. Goals by Wildish and Zachary Mcevoy in the final three minutes had the lead to 3-0 after one.

Joseph Bene’s ninth goal of the season in the final ninety seconds of the third period earned Kingsway a 3-3 tie with Williamstown in late game action at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. The teams traded goals in the first period with Enrique Espinosa giving Williamstown a 1-0 lead just over two minutes into the game. Vince Salerno would tie the game late in the period, scoring his fourth of the year. Dennis Campbell scored the lone goal in period number two, this one coming in the final ninety seconds to give the braves a 2-1 lead after two periods.

Jason Player had a hat trick and JJ Fogelman and Vince Salerno added two goals each as Kingsway outscored Williamstown 10-6 in SJHSHL action played at Hollydell on Friday. Justin Fortuna scored four goals for Williamstown. Jacob Woody got things started for Kingsway at the five minute mark of the opening period on a nice feed from Salerno and a 1-0 lead. Fortuna would get his first just a few seconds later and we were knotted at 1-1. Fogelman scored on the power play to give Kingsway a 2-1 lead midway through the period but Campbell would tie the game at 2-2 with Fogelman getting the helper.

Jake Cahill stopped 37 shots as Williamstown played Moorestown to a 1-1 draw in action at Voorhees on Monday evening. The teams traded goals in the first period with Steve Poulin giving Williamstown a 1-0 lead just two minutes into the game and Luke Dobbs scoring on the power play late in the period for the only Moorestown goal. Williamstown would have 3 power play opportunities in the second period but failed to capitalize.

On Wednesday night, two SJHSHL teams, Clearview and Williamstown, came together to compete on the ice in support of a Clearview family who is facing a battle with ALS. This is the second year in a row that the Clearview hockey club has run this fund raiser. Williamstown led for most of the game and had a 3-1 lead early in the third period, but Chase Dyar would score with just sixteen seconds left in the game, his third of the night and the View was able to escape with a 3-3 tie. The two teams played an additional five minutes but neither team could score. Both teams played vigorously with a high intensity throughout that was understandably fueled by the emotion of the evening, these young athletes came together in solidarity to show community support for one their own, a hockey family member.

Max Kuznetsov had six goals and Conor Riley had five as Eastern defeated Williamstown 11-0 at the Skate Zone in Voorhees on Monday night. The Vikings put the game away with a seven goal second period as Williamstown had no answer for the Vikings top line. Kuznetsov scored in the opening minute of the game and Riley would follow suit three minutes later and it was already 2-0 just three minutes in. Kuznetsov would score two more goals both coming late in the period and Eastern took a 4-0 lead into the second period.

Todd Minshall scored two goals to lead Shawnee past Williamstown 5-3 in SJHSHL action played at Voorhees on Monday night. Williamstown fell to 0-3 on the season; this was the season opener for Shawnee. Steve Poulin gave Williamstown a 1-0 lead scoring a power play goal midway through the first period. Minshall would tie the game less than three minutes later and we began the second period all even at 1-1. Robert Falese would give Shawnee their first lead scoring in the first two minutes of the period, but Poulin would get his second of the night five minutes later to tie the game at 2-2.
