Luke Hussey scored his second goal of the night with just thirty eight seconds left to snap a 3-3 game and give EEW a thrilling 4-3 win over River front in Tier II action played at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. Hussey scored his first goal in the opening minute of the game as the EEW led 1-0. Riverfront did not record a shot on goal until the nine minute mark, but Dylan Richardson made it count as he scored his sixth goal of the season to even the game at 1-1.

Isaac Viereck gave Riverfront a 2-1 converting on the power play and despite being outshot 15-5; Riverfront led 2-1 heading into the second period. Justin Bryan picked a good time to score his first goal of the season as he tied the game with six minutes left in the period. The EEW began the third period on the power play, but Riverfront goalie Stephen San Martin made several big saves to keep the game tied. The EEW would connect on their next man advantage as Alex Beriq on a nice feed from Sam Amon would give the EEW a 3-2 lead. That lead would last less than three minutes as Riverfront would capitalize on the power play with Kyle Phillips tying the game with his second goal of the year.

Both teams would have chances to take the lead, but neither could capitalize until Hussey broke in with just seconds remaining and beat San Martin for the game winner. With the win EEW improved to 5-1.
