Trailing 4-3 late in the third period Clearview would get the tying goal from Thomas Rockey on the power play and then the game winning goal from Gavin Reagan in overtime, again on the power play as the View defeated Mainland 5-4 in Tier II playoff action at Voorhees. Rockey would score the lone goal of the first period as the View led 1-0. Robert Conlan and Owen Haugan would give Mainland a 2-1 lead scoring goals in the first four minutes of the second period. Steve Lento would tie the game at 2-2 for the View scoring at the seven-minute mark. Just fifteen seconds later the View took the lead as Mario Leone scored.
Over the next four minutes Clearview would kill consecutive penalties as Mainland had their chances on the power play but could not score. It wasn’t until late in the period when Zachary Chmelowitz would get the equalizer for Mainland and we entered the third period all square at 3-3. Once again Clearview found itself down a man and Conlan would get his second of the night to give Mainland a 4-3 lead with under seven minutes left in regulation. Then with four minutes left Rockey would get the tying goal for the View as they had a two-man advantage and Reagan assisted. Next in overtime, Reagan would get the game winner with Rockey assisting.
