Robert Wildish had a hat trick as Moorestown continued its unbeaten run with a 9-0 rout of Williamstown in Tier I action played at Hollydell. Chris Palko got his first start in nets for Moorestown and stopped all 13 shots and on offense the Quake would score three goals in each period. It took Moorestown nine minutes to get their offense on track as Elias Sulpizio would score with just under five minutes left in the first. Goals by Wildish and Zachary Mcevoy in the final three minutes had the lead to 3-0 after one.

Moorestown improved to 7-0-2 as they defeated Eastern 3-1 at the Skate Zone in Voorhees on Monday night. Robert Wildish scored the only goal of the first period as the Quakes led 1-0. Missing top scorer and playmaker Max Kuznetsov, the Vikings were outshot 38-19 and could not generate much offense. Andrew Jordan would give Moorestown a 2-0 lead with less than five minutes left in the second period and the Quakes would carry that lead into the third period. Jacob Findley would put the Vikings on the scoreboard three minutes into the final period getting his fifth of the year and fourth in the last three games and Eastern despite the lack of offense was back in the game at 2-1.

Domenic Garozzo had a hat trick and Andrew McGinley had two goals as Washington Township defeated Egg Harbor Township 10-2 at Voorhees on Monday night. EHT jumped out to a 1-0 lead as William Bahnak would score the first of his two goals on the night just three minutes into the game. Chad Castorina would get the Township offense going at the ten minute mark as he tied the game at 1-1. His goal would trigger a four goal span over five minutes. Right off the center ice face off Garozzo would give Township a 2-1 lead as he used his speed to generate a scoring chance. Bahnak would tie the game at 2-2 moments later, his second of the night. Township would seize control in the last ninety seconds as Nick Shute and McGinley would score and give Township a 4-2 lead after one.

Shawnee scored the first goal of the game and got a strong performance in nets from Shay Perry but Cherokee rallied in the third period to defeat Shawnee 3-1 in SJHSHL action played in Voorhees. Aidan McGray scored the only goal of the first period as Shawnee led 1-0. The Chiefs, missing some of their top scorers, had some opportunities but Perry was solid in nets. Shawnee had a golden opportunity at the nine minute mark of the second period as they were awarded a penalty shot with their leading goal scorer, Anthony Poppalardo having the chance but Cherokee goalie Ryan Conrad stoned him to keep it 1-0. Less than two minutes later, with Shawnee on the power play, Jake Kelley stole the puck in the offensive zone and beat Perry for the tying goal.

Joseph Bene’s ninth goal of the season in the final ninety seconds of the third period earned Kingsway a 3-3 tie with Williamstown in late game action at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. The teams traded goals in the first period with Enrique Espinosa giving Williamstown a 1-0 lead just over two minutes into the game. Vince Salerno would tie the game late in the period, scoring his fourth of the year. Dennis Campbell scored the lone goal in period number two, this one coming in the final ninety seconds to give the braves a 2-1 lead after two periods.

Cherry Hill East improved to 9-1 on the season as they defeated Clearview 4-1 in the late game played at Hollydell on Friday night. With the game tied at 1-1, Johnny Pearson sped down the right side and scored his ninth goal of the season to give East the lead for good. Luke Steele would make it 3-1 in the final thirty seconds of the period on a feed from Pearson.

Cherokee built a 2-0 lead through two periods and would kill off seven power play opportunities as they defeated Kingsway 2-1 in Friday night action at Hollydell. Michael Deford scored his team high fifth goal at the four minute mark of the period to give the Chiefs a 1-0 lead. Brendan Mohnacs would get his first of the season late in the second period and Cherokee took a 2-0 lead into the third period.

Six different players scored for Clearview as they defeated Mainland 6-4 in SJHSHL action played in Voorhees. The View would use a three goal first period to take charge with Christopher Geary putting the View up 1-0 just over three minutes into the game. Mainland would tie the game at 1-1 midway through the period on a goal by Jack Hassett, his second of the season. Goals by Justin Dalonzo and Derek McKinley on the power play gave the View a 3-1 lead after one period. The goals came ninety seconds apart and when Brendan Bainbridge scored just over one minute into the second period the View led 4-1.

Luke Riley scored a power play goal in the final four minutes to snap a 4-4 game and give Eastern a come from behind 5-4 victory over Kingsway. The Vikings trailed 3-0 midway through the second period as Kingsway built their lead on two goals from Joe Bene, who would finish with a hat trick, and the first goal of the season from John Francis. The Vikings would get on the scoreboard at the nine minute mark of the second period with Ethan Raeuber getting things going for the Vikings. Three minutes later Jacob Findley would get his first of two goals on the night to bring Eastern to within 3-2. Just over one minute later the Vikings would tie the game at 3-3 as Shane Mehalick would score his first varsity goal and we had a brand new game.

Anthony Carite scored three straight goals in a span of two minutes in the second period to help St Joe’s defeat Middle Township 6-3 in Tier II action played at the Skate Zone in Voorhees on Monday night. The two teams would trade goals in the first period with Middle Township taking a 1-0 lead at the three minute mark on a goal by Paul Stryker. Twenty six seconds later Chris Corsaro would tie the game for St Joe’s at 1-1. Less than one minute later St Joe’s would take a 2-1 lead on a nice shot from Robert Diehm as his blast went right under the crossbar. Nico Corsaro would tie the game at 2-2 for Middle thirty three seconds later.
